Super far from my house, but its the only Starbucks that confirm has seats on Sunday night.

So I wore something that feels comfortable and snuggly and at the same time doesn’t look too much like PJs.

This was what I wore Sunday night:

This dress is really comfy!

But I folded the bottom part cos it was a lil too long for me.

Warning: Knitted dresses only to be worn in cold weather/extremely cold aircon! Hahaha.

Looks really cute with my sneakers, doesn’t it?

Messed around with eyeliner earlier in the afternoon.

I quite like the look! :))

Hahaha, I was inspired by the episode of Wo Cai I watched at Baby’s house yesterday while waiting for him to pack and send him for book-in.

They featured girls who look extremely different before and after makeup!

And the difference is really huge! Damn shocking la.

Hahaha, I couldn’t help but wonder how celebs would look like without their makeups.

But I’m too lazy to put makeup, or rather, wash them off. Hahah.

Can’t imagine those girls who cannot leave house without eyeliner/mascara.

Shall only put if I dress nicely to go out/special occasions!

My pile of makeup is like discarded in one corner, lol.

Feel so bloated and disgusting. ):

I had a really bad headache last night.

And my tummy feels all weird and funny.

I didn’t even have the appetite for my favourite KOI and Ichiban salmon sushi.

F-essence helps a lot with the cramps but I always forget to take them!

Lol, should paste a post-it on the fridge to remind myself.

But anyway, I did get myself out of the house just now!

Went for a suntanning session with Jess sissy.

Love suntanning because I like the tan lines. Hahaha. Sounds so bimbotic.

I think I’m gonna regret when I grow old though, all the freckles and spots. D:

But at least I slab sunblock on my face and cover it with towel when I tan!

So maybe I won’t get those on my face. Heh.

Went to get lunch at AMK Hub, and drove my car for a bath somewhere nearby!

Its so freaking expensive just to wash and vacum. D:

Having  a car is a huge liability, but along with it comes the convenience that I’m unwilling to forgo.

Never go out = no outfit photos

But I got a whole lot of new clothes that just came through the mail though.

Oopsy daisy, someone is going to start nagging. :) Heh.

Only went out for dinner with my uncle and aunt, and I decided to go casual with pocket tee and grunge denim shorts.

Anyway, I think that sneakers can make any outfit interesting, including dresses.

So I’m going to try and match my sneakers with all my outfits for next week. ;)

I’ve made a resolution to cut down on my online shopping.

Only allowed to buy no more than 10 items per month.

I’m being very emo these few days.

I guess I’m just someone who is a little more emotional,

Reached home this morning at 2am, edited report till 4am.

And I’m supposed to wake up at 12pm to meet Teng. Hahaha.

Wanted to blog about choices vs consequences when I got home last night.

Because of what I learnt in school yesterday + something that happened last night.

That got me thinking.

But have no time to sit down properly and churn out anything cos I need to go pick Teng up now!

Oh my god. One deadline tonight, one on Sunday and one on Monday.

I foresee myself being buried in work throughout the weekends. ):

On a sidenote, Baby was really sweet to find me a place with free Wi-fi when we met for dinner yesterday.

He walked around the whole AMK Hub while I was desperately looking for parking lots.

Ended up parking super far from hub. ):

Dinner ended up at MOF, which was surprisingly better than expectations.

I always thought it was some small Japanese Cafe with substandard food.

But the sashimi was awesome!

Anyway, I was so anxious about it and I HAD to go online at 8pm, I even brought my laptop along!

Hahaha, talk about being addicted.

I’m hopelessly addicted to shopping.

I take a super duper long time to fall asleep, and when I’m sleeping I get all kinds of weird dreams.

I need a peaceful sleep.

Anyway, we’re celebrating Mom’s birthday later!

I got the cake from Sweet Secrets, heh.

Hope she likes her present from Charles and Keith, I picked it. :)

I love how this necklace instantly spruces up any plain outfits and makes them interesting.

A sales girl asked me where I got it from and said it matches well with what I’m wearing, hahah.

Went there cos I wanted to do my work at Starbucks, and its the closest to school.

But omg, am never going back there again, its packed with students!

And I could hardly find a seat. D:

I still prefer the one at Greenhouse.

It was at 4am in the morning and I didn’t know what to do!

So I just shut it down, and went to sleep hoping that it’ll miraculously recover by itself when I wake up in the morning.

But, no!

It didn’t.

So I went to my most reliable source of help, my dear Boyf who is quite proficient at  geeky computer matters.

He told me to use my netbook and download the Norton Antivirus and transfer it to my lappie.

I downloaded it with lots of doubts in my mind cos my previous computers who were all Norton-protected, somehow still crashed.

But it worked!!

I’m happily blogging away on my lappie now and I owe my life to Norton Antivirus and of cos, my dear Boyf.

Hahaha. :)

Didn’t managed to come up with my outfit post yesterday but I finished my report, like finally!

Now I need to start on the others that are waiting for me.

Anyway, I went to NTUC the other day and bought ingredients to cook pasta!

Just looking at its photo is making me hungry now, and I’ve had it for dinner last night and lunch this afternoon.

Will never get sick of it! Love the mushroom and bacon and garlic!

I wanted to take step by step photos of how I cooked it, but it was too much of a hassle.

Maybe next time, when sissy is around to help. Heh.

Anyway, here’s what I wore to school yesterday!

Used my own camera to take the photos, and I don’t like how they turned out.

So I edited them to make them look vintage instead, and it kind of matches my outfit.

Today! Went out with sissy to PS to get Mom’s present.

Had Carl’s Junior for dinner, I heart the criss-cut fries! They’re the bombzxz.

Spent lots of time at Made with Love and got lots of cool stuff for scrapbooking.

Yea, I’m into those artsy stuff although I don’t have the creative genes! Hahaha.

Just wore something casual cos I felt lazy to dress up.

We ended our small shopping trip by visiting Cotton On.

I love shopping at Cotton On! Didn’t get lots of stuff though, I only got a nude drapey long tank. :)))

Sissy says “Its like a cheaper version of a blogshop.”

She got a pair of light denim cuffed shorts!

I don’t think their stuff is that cheap though, unless they have sales.

But still, they have great basics that are way cheaper than Topshop/Zara/Mango.

Okay, gotta go prepare Mom’s present! Sissy is nagging.

I saw this quote from somewhere on the Internet, and I thought it sounded quite ironic.

Working so hard to own all the nice things which you have no time to enjoy and savour.

That’s how a ‘normal’ life is for most people.

They only think that it is normal because 95% of the population is like this.

That is not the kind of life I want to lead.

But if I follow what everyone else is doing now, studying, ccas, internships, overseas exchange, graduate, find job, get a job that they don’t really like,

I will end up like everyone else.

Then again, when you try to step out of your comfort zone, people mock at you.

For doing something different.

If you want to lead a different life from everyone else,

you can’t be doing what everyone else is doing.

Because if you keep doing the same things over and over and expect a different result,

its call INSANITY.

I’m not saying that I need to be filthy rich in order to be happy.

But I know that without money, no one can be truly happy. Because life is tough without money.

I’m lucky enough to not have experienced the feeling of being poor yet.

Because I have a wonderful Dad who works hard for the comfort that we’re enjoying now.

Then again, he didn’t achieve it by the conventional routes too.

No outfit posts today unless I can finish my overdue report. ):

I’m sitting at the Thomson Plaza Starbucks now, racking my brains and thinking of how to do the bloody report.

We were planning to have a picnic at Botanic Gardens including her Primary School friends and YG, but I shall spare the details of how we were going to surprise her and move on.

I went to fetch HJ at 5pm, and we only reached Botanic Gardens at 6.30pm!

All thanks to my unreliable GPS, kept leading us to roads that are dead ends.

We ALMOST got stuck inside some ulu part of Botanic Gardens cos the barrier didn’t wanna reopen for us!

Damn scary, we went down the car and tried all sorts of ways including trying to lift it up manually.

And just as I was doing that, it sprang up and gave me the shock of my life!

So we ran quickly back to the car and drove off. Hahaha.

And that was just ONE small part of the whole fiasco.

When we finally reached, it started pouring cats and dogs.

The rain was so heavy that we could only see the car in front of us. That’s all.

Drove over to the LKY school to meet Jo who was just as lost.

Then we had a change of plans and decided to have dinner in town instead.

We were lucky enough to be able to book this VIP room at Sakae Sushi @Wheelock’s Place!

Meant for 8 pax but we squeezed 11 people inside. :)

Quite a cosy corner and enclosed so that the people outside won’t be bothered by our noise.

We hid behind a pillar inside the room while the birthday girl’s primary school friends ambushed her at the entrance of the room.

So she wasn’t expecting to see us at all.

Until she stepped inside the room and got surprised by the four of us!

All in all, hope she likes the dinner, cake and the surprise that we never got around to doing. :)

My Sunday was spent at home in the company of my reports and essays.

But Baby met me at night with my favourite drink, KOI milk tea with grass jelly. 100x nicer than pearls!

And we walked to Serangoon Gardens for Aston’s and I had Frolick after that!

Omg I’m eating it like once every two days, hahah.

Serangoon Gardens is my new favourite place for dinner, there’s nice food + Frolick + nice houses to see when we walk back to my house.

Yay, I had a wonderful weekend cos of my friends and Baby. :)

And did it all by myself, hahah.

Am loving it. :)

Anyway, going somewhere exciting later for a picnic!
